Prefects

At Four Marks CE Primary School, we provide a wide range of pupil leadership opportunities. From Prefects and House Captains to Digital Leaders, Sports, Arts and Music Captains, children are encouraged to take responsibility, support others and make a positive contribution to school life. These roles develop confidence, teamwork, communication, leadership and a strong sense of belonging.

Our Pupil Leaders:

• Prefects – supporting younger pupils and helping with morning routines
• House Captains – representing, supporting and motivating their House
• Sports Captains – promoting participation, teamwork and fair play
• Arts Captains – championing creativity and the arts
• Librarian – supporting our library and encouraging a love of reading
• Digital Leaders – helping pupils and staff use technology safely and effectively
• Chicken Prefect – caring for and supporting the school chickens
• Play Leaders – helping to organise and lead playground activities
• Music Prefects – supporting musical activities and encouraging participation

Fresh Ideas Team (FIT)

Our Fresh Ideas Team (FIT) gives pupils a meaningful voice in school life. Working together, they develop ideas, make decisions, plan projects and organise fundraising. FIT builds confidence, teamwork, leadership and communication skills while developing responsibility, creativity and an understanding of democracy. Their ideas make a positive difference to our school community. The children are currently taking ideas from their class and planning charities to support, ideas to raise awareness or to raise money.

Play leaders: 

Through the use of the PE Sports Premium, we have invested substantial amounts in extensive new resources to encourage active play times. We are also fortunate to work in collaboration with one of our local feeder secondary school, Perins who are organising their PE co-ordinator to train our Play Leaders in supporting children to access and maximise the opportunities at lunch times.
