Primary school governors provide strategic leadership, support and challenge to ensure the school delivers the best possible education for every child. They are responsible for setting the school’s vision and direction, holding leaders to account for educational performance, overseeing financial effectiveness and ensuring statutory duties, including safeguarding, are fulfilled.
At Four Marks CE Primary School, governors champion the Christian vision of walking in Jesus’ footsteps and help ensure that the values of Love, Integrity, Forgiveness and Equality (LIFE) shape decision-making, school improvement and the curriculum. By working in partnership with leaders, staff, parents and the wider community, governors help create an inclusive, caring and ambitious school where every child is prepared for life.
