At Four Marks CE Primary School, we believe that music and the arts are an essential part of a rich and inspiring education. Through our vision of "Learning for Life!", we provide children with opportunities to explore their creativity, develop their talents and express themselves with confidence.
The arts are valued as an important part of our broad and balanced curriculum, enabling children to develop imagination, resilience, communication skills and cultural understanding. Through high-quality teaching in music, art and design, drama and creative projects, pupils are encouraged to experiment, create and reflect, while developing an appreciation of a wide range of artistic styles, traditions and cultures.
Music plays an important role in school life. Children regularly take part in singing, performances, productions, collective worship and celebration events that bring the school community together. These opportunities help pupils develop confidence, teamwork and a lifelong enjoyment of music and performance.
We are committed to recognising and nurturing individual strengths and talents. Children are encouraged to participate in a variety of creative experiences both within and beyond the classroom, helping them to discover new interests and develop existing passions. Invited visitors, musicians and performers promote and celebrate the arts across the school, inspiring younger children and helping to shape creative opportunities for all.
Through performances, exhibitions, creative curriculum experiences and enrichment opportunities, we strive to ensure that every child experiences the joy, inspiration and sense of achievement that music and the arts can bring. In doing so, we help children become confident, expressive and well-rounded individuals who are ready to contribute positively to the wider world.

Congratulations from the Head at Perins:
I wanted to write personally to congratulate everyone at Four Marks School on your incredible production last week. It was truly wonderful to see the hard work, creativity and confidence of your students brought to life on stage, a real credit to both the pupils and the staff who supported them.
We were absolutely delighted to welcome you to Perins and to support the production in our theatre- The Perins Hub.
It was a pleasure to see the space filled with such energy and enthusiasm, and we are so pleased that we could play a small part in helping make the performance such a success.
Opportunities like this highlight the strength of our local school community, and it was fantastic to see your students performing with such pride and enjoyment.
Please do pass on my congratulations to everyone involved.
