Special diets

Hampshire Caterers can provide special diets for pupils with allergies who want to have a school lunch. Special diets are provided for pupils with a medical problem, not just a dislike of certain food. Medical evidence confirming the child's allergy will be required. Visit the HC3S special diets page to find out more.

If for religious, cultural or lifestyle reasons you wish your child to have either a pork free, beef free, egg free, pork and beef free or vegan menu, please speak with your school who can request the appropriate menu from our Food Development team.

Registering could raise money for our school

It’s important to sign up for free school meals as registering could also raise an extra £900 for your child’s school from central government, to fund valuable support like extra tuition, learning assistants or after school clubs.

Even if you don’t want your child to receive a free meal, we would encourage you to register for free school meals so that their school receives as much funding as possible!
