Children in Key Stage 2 have the opportunity to experience a variety of clubs on a Friday afternoon. The purpose of these clubs is to give the children the opportunity to try new things, and experience a range of activities that they may not otherwise have the opportunity to try. Children work in groupings that are mixed right across our Key Stage Two classes which also helps to develop social skills and close bonds with others from different classes and age groups.
The clubs on offer change regularly, and the children will often suggest particular things that they are interested in. Clubs have included activities such as Carpentry, Gardening, Jive, Athletics, Sewing, Book Making, Construction, Jewellery Making and Engineering. More recently, our hugely popular Goblin Car Club has been established.
Autumn Term Friday Clubs on offer include:
- Goblin Cars
- Jewellery Making
- Paper Construction
- Board Games
