Four Marks CE Primary School

Love. Integrity. Forgiveness. Equality.

Welcome

''Four Marks Primary School is an exceptionally welcoming school, in which the Christian vision  underpins  strong relationships  across the whole community''.

 (SIAMS Inspection Report 2022)

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to our school website. Through our website, we hope to give you an insight into our school, and provide useful information for both parents,  pupils and other interested visitors.

Choosing a school for your child is such an important decision and we hope that by visiting us and reading about the activities and learning experiences that happen here, you will feel that Four Marks Church of England Primary School is a friendly, caring, family community, committed to achievement and sharing in the successes of each individual in our care.  We pride ourselves on our inclusive, warm and family-feeling school.  Our Christian values of Love, Integrity, Forgiveness and Equality (LIFE) underpin all that we do, our choices and decisions, and the way we encourage all in our community to flourish. An important part of our ethos is our  partnership with parents as we know that working closely together enables your child to benefit fully from school and helps our children to develop a love of learning, whilst becoming confident and well rounded individuals.

'The school is an extremely welcoming and joyful community

where staff, pupils, governors and parents value and highly respect each other.'

(SIAMS Inspection Report 2022).

Our caring and skilled staff offer an inclusive education for all the children.  We nurture our children so that they develop into independent, responsible and resilient young people. We also want our children to extend friendship, respect and kindness to all they meet. The school’s strong behaviour policy help us to achieve this. The school also actively seeks to promote children’s healthy lifestyles, interest in sport and awareness of safety in our modern world.

'Behaviour is impeccable throughout the school.

The school’s Christian ethos underpins behaviour management

through the practice of forgiveness and reconciliation'. (SIAMS Inspection Report 2022)

Everyone at our school works hard to ensure that all the children are challenged to have the skills needed to read, write, calculate with numbers and to use computer technology. We want our children to be aspirational- the best they can be, and be committed and willing to try new experiences.

In the 21st century we believe that the most successful learners will be those who are innovative and flexible in their approach to learning. At Four Marks, we want to develop children who are confident to investigate and debate tricky questions, and who can work collaboratively and communicate effectively. We develop these skills through the wide range of opportunities we offer.

'The exciting and relevant curriculum is planned around learning experiences

for all pupils where they are given opportunities to develop their strengths and talents.'

(SIAMS Inspection Report 2022)

We hope that you are able to visit our school to see us in action and to get a real feel of what it is like to be a learner with us. If you would like to come and meet us, please do contact the school office to make an appointment. Should you have any further questions or concerns, we would be more than happy to discuss these.

We look forward to welcoming you soon, and sharing in your child’s education in the future.

You are very welcome to book an appointment for a tour of our school at any point through the year if you are unable to make our Open Mornings (details below). Please phone our school office to arrange a visit.
